We understand the security services we provide are critical to our customers and are committed to providing reliable protection when you need us most. Like you, we are closely watching the Coronavirus coverage and we’re actively doing everything we can to limit the exposure of this virus to both our clients and employees.
Many states now have shelter in place orders with numerous industries now closing their factories, offices, and small businesses. We want to assure you that Vyanet will keep you connected to police, fire, and emergency services as we always have. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security deems our industry to be an Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce, which means you can continue to rely on us to provide alarm protection and monitoring service for your security and fire systems as well as other critical security services.
Security has always been an important service, whether we’re protecting your home, small business, banks, grocery stores, pharmacies, or hospitals. During uncertain times, it becomes more critical than ever. Vyanet is determined to keep our customers and communities protected and to keep you connected to first responders and emergency services when you need them. In order to do this, we’ve implemented changes in how we serve our clients to better protect you, your families, and our employees.
As requests for service arise, we are doing what we can to remotely fix these issues whenever possible. Due to the nature of our business, there are times when your security equipment may need onsite repairs, require a new installation, or need LTE communication upgrades. For these instances, we’ve added additional health and safety precautions.
Our field technicians and patrol officers have been equipped with additional cleaning supplies, disinfectant, and protective gear so they can better protect themselves and your household. They are also doing everything they can to give you space as they practice social distancing.
All of our field team members have also been instructed to stay home if they show any signs of illness and are advised to rigorously follow the CDC recommendations for best hygiene practices to keep you and themselves safeguarded during this time.
In order to be there for you, we need to keep our security team healthy. We are currently maximizing social distancing in our monitoring and customer service centers, and every employee who can work from home is now doing so.
