We provide the peace of mind in knowing that your home or business is being monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our alarm monitoring facility is “on alert” at all times, ready for an alarm signal or call for assistance.
We are experienced at providing quality, specialized monitoring services and response services.
Not all alarm systems are monitored by U.L. Listed Central Stations. Make sure your alarm systems are monitored by the “Paragon” of Alarm Monitoring.
Professional alarm monitoring central stations are located all over the globe and compete with one another in price, service, special features and other amenities. However, not all of them really “stand out.” The ones that really make a difference are the central stations committed to simply providing quality alarm monitoring service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Monitoring alarm systems since 1984 under the same management, Paragon Monitoring Center uses premier Central Station automation equipment. We have complete redundancy of all mission critical equipment, and are staffed by SIA certified and State of Oregon DPSST licensed operators.
Paragon Monitoring Center is designed to meet or exceed Underwriters Laboratories Standard UL 827. All electronic receiving equipment, computers and standby power supply equipment have redundant backup units. All technical equipment is supported and maintained by in house personnel 24 hours a day. All vital information is backed up and archived several times every day.
Competitive monitoring rates and simplified monitoring techniques such as reporting of False Alarms, Faults, Mechanical problems, and malfunctions to your alarm servicing company improves the reliability of your alarm service, reduces and prevents costly false alarms, and helps keep costs to a minimum. At Paragon Monitoring Center, we’re watching your bottom line.
PMC provides technical support to all alarm Dealers in the area of transmission format programming and in many cases, our operators can help resolve minor problems over the phone with the end user. Sophisticated computer software developed by one of the world’s leading Central Station automation software companies ensures that all alarm events are processed accurately and efficiently without delay.
Our staff undergoes extensive FBI background checks as part of a state licensing process through the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST).
Each alarm operator goes through 8-10 weeks of training before beginning to dispatch on alarms. Each operator is licensed by the DPSST as an “Alarm Monitor” for the state of Oregon, including reciprocity with several other states.
The owners and management of Paragon Monitoring Center have been involved in the Alarm Industry in Oregon for over 30 years. Two of our senior management staff have served as President of the Oregon Burglar and Fire Alarm Association as well as serving on other alarm related boards, committees and councils.
We are committed to serving the needs of alarm companies in the Pacific Nortwest and across the nation by providing quality alarm monitoring for residential, commercial, and industrial establishments.
Located in a secured room inside a concrete building, our facility is protected by fully automated security and fire alarm systems. Closed circuit television cameras placed around the facility allow our staff to constantly monitor the level of security inside, and outside, the building.
A secured and protected standby generator, as well as extensive battery backup and surge suppression on all mission critical equipment, ensure that we are always ready to receive and dispatch on alarm signals.
We provide U.L. Listed Central Station Alarm Monitoring, which means our facility, staff and equipment have been audited and inspected by Underwriters Laboratories and certified to meet or exceed the requirements for Central Station Alarm Monitoring.
State of the art alarm-receiving equipment, coupled with redundant computer network hardware, enables our staff to constantly monitor alarms with zero “down time.”
Highly sophisticated computer software ensures that all alarm events are processed accurately and efficiently without delay. Call logging and computer data tracking systems enable operating performance to be monitored and constantly improved.
Paragon Monitoring Center is locally owned and operated, which enables us to operate independently of any “corporate headquarters.” This allows PMC to provide jobs for local people and participate in and contribute to the Oregon economy.
